MCAO Sutures for Rodent Stroke Models
- MCAO sutures are made of silicone-wrapped nylon thread. After tens of thousands of experiments, it successfully integrates soft touching with wire rigidity. It is to ensure that the suture occlusion can easily enter the common carotid artery from the external carotid artery, and finally enter the MCA branch of the internal carotid artery without piercing the inner wall of the vessel and changing the original direction of the vessel. It can also ensure a higher success rate of modeling meanwhile achieving a more realistic modeling effect.
